Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 3, 2026

Compool Parts ("we," "us" or "our") runs this online store. This policy explains, in plain terms, what personal information we collect when you visit, contact us or buy from us, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.

What information do we collect?

Information you give us

  • Orders and accounts: your name, billing and shipping addresses, email address, phone number and the products you buy, when you place an order or create an account.
  • Payments: handled at checkout by Shopify and our payment providers. We never receive or store your full card number.
  • Messages: anything you include when you call us or use our contact form, such as your name, email address, equipment details and photos.
  • Reviews and questions: if you submit a product review or question, what you submit and the name you choose to display.

Information collected automatically

When you visit, we and our service providers automatically collect information about your device and how you use the site, including IP address, browser type, approximate location, pages and products viewed, items added to your cart, the referring website and the date and time of your visit. This is collected with cookies, pixels and similar technologies (see "Cookies" below).

How do we use it?

  • To process, ship and deliver orders, including returns, exchanges and cancellations.
  • To communicate about your orders, such as confirmations, shipping updates and answers to your questions.
  • To provide customer support and ask for your feedback, such as review requests after a purchase.
  • To run, maintain and improve our website and product selection.
  • To measure and improve our advertising and marketing.
  • To send marketing emails if you have opted in; you can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To detect and prevent fraud and abuse and protect our website and customers.
  • To meet legal obligations, such as tax and accounting requirements.

Who do we share it with?

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it with service providers that help us run our business, including:

  • Shopify, which hosts our store and processes checkout and payments. Shopify's privacy policy is at www.shopify.com/legal/privacy.
  • Shipping carriers and freight companies, which need your name, address and phone number to deliver your order.
  • Advertising and analytics partners such as Google and Meta (Facebook and Instagram), if you interact with our store through their services or our ads, which may receive information about your visit and purchases to list our products, measure performance and show ads.
  • Other website tools we use to run site features and protect forms from spam.
  • Professional advisers and authorities, when required by law, to respond to legal process, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a sale or transfer of our business.

Sharing information with advertising partners for targeted (cross-context behavioral) advertising may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under some U.S. state privacy laws. You can opt out as described below.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use them and similar technologies to keep your cart working and remember preferences (necessary), to understand how visitors use the site (analytics), and to measure our ads and show relevant ads elsewhere (advertising). You can control cookies in your browser settings and through any cookie or privacy controls on our website. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site works, such as keeping items in your cart.

What are my rights and choices?

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we hold about you and get a copy.
  • Have inaccurate information corrected.
  • Have your personal information deleted, subject to legal exceptions (for example, records we must keep for tax purposes).
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising.
  • Opt out of marketing emails, using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by contacting us.
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

To make a request, call (281) 771-0320 or use our Contact Us form. We may need to verify your identity first, and you may use an authorized agent where the law allows. We'll respond within the time required by applicable law. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our response.

How long do we keep it, and how is it protected?

We keep personal information only as long as needed to fulfill orders, provide support and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable safeguards, including those provided by Shopify, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Children

Our website is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

We link to other sites, such as manufacturer websites. We're not responsible for their privacy practices and encourage you to read their privacy policies.

Updates to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
